DJ invoice template
Event work inverts normal invoicing: the balance is due before the performance, not after. The sample bills a wedding with the deposit credited, the ceremony add-on visible, and the overtime rate pre-agreed in writing — the line that saves the 11pm conversation.

What belongs on a dj invoice
"Due 14 days before the event date" is standard and sane: nobody should be settling invoices during a wedding.
The $150/hour overtime line, agreed in advance and only with the named decision-makers, turns the night's best moment ("one more hour!") into easy money instead of an awkward stand-off.
"PA & lighting included" heads off venue questions and justifies the number against bedroom-DJ quotes.
The preview uses the Modern layout — you can switch between all three templates in the editor without losing a word.
DJ invoicing questions
When do DJs invoice for an event?
Deposit invoice at booking (it holds the date), balance invoice due 1–2 weeks before the event. Nothing is due after — overtime settled on the night is the only exception.
What if the event runs over?
The overtime rate on the invoice makes it a pre-agreed purchase, not a renegotiation. Take the cue only from the client or planner named on the invoice — not the loudest guest.
